Climate Analysis
This tool allows the user to construct maps of Dekad (10-day) averaged climate variables; precipitation, maximum temperature and minimum temperature. The default map shows average precipitation for January 1-10 over the whole of Tanzania.
This Maproom provides information on the mean climate at any given point or at national and sub-national levels.

This tool allows the user to monitor and analyze current and recent rainfall: precipitation, maximum temperature and minimum temperature.
Climate Forecast
This map shows the historical probability (given in percentile) of seasonal average monthly rainfall falling within the upper (wet), middle (normal), or bottom (dry) one-third ("tercile") of the 1983-2010 historical distribution in the country given the state of ENSO (El Niño, Neutral, La Niña) during that same season.
This map shows the historical probability (given in percentile) of seasonal average monthly minimum or maximum temperature falling within the upper (hot), middle (normal), or bottom (cold) one-third ("tercile") of the 1981-2013 historical distribution in the country given the state of ENSO (El Niño, Neutral, La Niña) during the previous season (e.g. Jul-Sep temperature against Oct-Dec ENSO state).
This map shows the historical probability (given in percentile) of seasonal average monthly rainfall falling within the upper (wet), middle (normal), or bottom (dry) one-third ("tercile") of the 1983-2014 historical distribution in Tanzania given the Terciles of IOD (Postive, Neutral, Negative) during that same season.
